Three public law barristers from Ground Floor will discuss some current and recent controversies on these topics and offer some insights into acting both for and against Governments and public entities.

This CPD Seminar will focus on aspects of public law, and in particular, some features of Government liability. There are some intricacies in litigation for and against the State, and this seminar will help uncover some of those, including:
- special features of class actions against the State;
- the boundaries of civil liability against the State under s 46 of the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW);
- misfeasance in public office and malicious prosecution; and
- vicarious liability.
