CPD Seminar: Voidable transactions under the Corporations Act: something old and something new

The Members of Ground Floor Wentworth Chambers would like to invite you to attend a CPD Seminar:

Topic: Voidable transactions under the Corporations Act: something old and something new

The modern Corporations Act has some features which are very old and some which are very new. In this presentation we will first explore the heritage and continuing relevance of section 588FE(5) which permits transactions to defeat or delay creditors to be unwound. In the second part Scott will consider the very recent statutory changes which permit a liquidator to assign voidable transaction claims and some issues to consider when doing so.
