Alexander accepts briefs in all areas of law and focuses primarily on taxation, franchising, general equity, insolvency, commercial and family law, and appears led and unled in all Courts and Tribunals. In particular, Alexander is regularly briefed by the Commonwealth Commissioner of Taxation, NSW Chief Commissioner of State Revenue, and individual and corporate taxpayers.

Alexander is currently completing his Masters of Laws (Tax) at Sydney University. Prior to coming to the bar, Alexander practised as a solicitor at a large national firm for four years specialising in banking and finance, insolvency, and corporations law. Alexander also has experience in litigated commercial disputes, strategic debt recovery for the Australian Taxation Office and matters involving allegations of minority shareholder oppression.

Alexander was a Judge’s Associate in the District Court of New South Wales and, as a law student, assisted junior and senior counsel in family, medical negligence, health and administrative law cases.
