Lucy accepts briefs in an all civil matters, including taxation, commercial, equity, construction, contracts, financial services, intellectual property and trade practices / consumer law. She has been recognised in 2025 in Doyles’ List as a Recommended Tax Law Junior in NSW in 2025, and in Legal 500 as a Leading Junior in Commercial Disputes.
She has acted on commercial matters in the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, District Court, Local Court and NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
She has appeared in taxation disputes in the Federal Court, Supreme Court, District Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal on issues including income, payroll, capital gains, and debt recovery.
She has advised and appeared on intellectual property disputes including patent infringement, and trade mark opposition and non-use proceedings, appearing in the Federal Court, Federal Circuit Court, and Trade Marks Office.
Prior to her call to the Bar, Lucy was an Associate at MinterEllison and additionally gained experience on secondments to Westpac Banking Corporation and SingTel Optus.
She has experience in contentious and non-contentious matters and has advised clients in diverse industries, including the banking, pharmaceutical, and telecommunications sectors.
Lucy holds a Master of Economics (majoring in Economics and Econometrics), Bachelor of Law (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English and Philosophy) from the University of Sydney.
