With over 40 years’ experience at the Bar, Peter has acted for local and overseas insurers and is regularly briefed by leading New South Wales and interstate law firms both at first instance and on appeal.

Peter’s expansive professional negligence practice has seen him briefed to appear for a broad range of professionals including medical practitioners (both general practitioners and specialists such as respiratory physicians, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists and pathologists), psychologists and allied professionals. He has also acted for architects, engineers, builders, boat builders, valuers, insurance brokers, finance brokers and hospitals.

A highly regarded Senior Counsel, Peter is also briefed in matters both for and against legal practitioners, and has appeared for Senior and Junior Counsel in both civil and disciplinary matters.
